Profhilo is a skin booster that targets skin laxity, dehydration, and signs of aging, particularly in areas like the face, neck, and hands. It consists of both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural substance found in the skin.
Profhilo is injected across multiple points in the skin's surface, promoting collagen and elastin production. The result is a subtle and natural improvement in skin quality, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and skin laxity while enhancing hydration and radiance.
For best results Profhilo is usually given as a course of 2 treatments 4-6 weeks apart, followed by 6-monthly maintenance top-ups.

It's also effective for those with dehydrated or dry skin, seeking overall skin quality improvement and enhanced moisture retention. Consultation: During this consultation, you will discuss your specific skin concerns, goals, and medical history. The practitioner will assess your skin type and determine if you are a suitable for profhilo.

Preparation: Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before injections. Numbing cream is optional as the treatment is generally well tolerated.

Injections: Profhilo is injected superficially beneath the surface of the skin using a find needle. Injection patterns may vary but usually on the face it is injected into 5 points on each side of the face.

Post-treatment care: You may experience some bee-sting-like bumps, redness, or bruising at the injection site. You will be provided with post-treatment care instructions to minimise any potential side effects and ensure the best results.

Results from Profhilo treatment typically begin with subtle improvements in skin hydration within a few days to a week after the first session. However, the most significant changes, such as enhanced skin quality, firmness, and elasticity, become noticeable around 4 to 6 weeks following the initial treatment. Profhilo treatment typically involves an initial series of two sessions spaced about four weeks apart. To maintain results, many individuals opt for maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months.
